Born on October 18, 1984, Freida Pinto is an Indian actress best known for her performance in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ (2008), which was also her debut movie. She mainly appears in American and British films. An alumnus of St. Xavier’s College, Pinto initially worked as a model and appeared in several advertisements. As of 2021, Pinto has appeared in at least 20 Bollywood and Hollywood movies, and six Television shows. She was nominated for the BAFTA Award for ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ Pinto had been in a six-year relationship with her ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ co-star Dev Patel. However, the couple parted ways in 2014. In 2020, she married photographer Cary Tran.
